The charity focuses on promoting and managing a self-help network including families whose children suffer from eczema.
It facilitates the creation of connections between them. For example, the group delivers a programme of free family social outings offering activities which are participative, confidence building, safe and fun.
The membership is free of charge ; the charity’s aim is to create a fair and inclusive environment for those suffering from eczema. Children living in challenging circumstances such as in isolated or deprived settings, along with families from black and minority ethnic communities, are a priority audience of the project.
Additionally, the charity is welcoming volunteers with eczema aged 8-18 to contribute to our X-Y-Zone project (Eczema Youth Zone) to raise awareness as well as help us in our activities. Interested? Contact us now on info@eczemaoutreachscotland.org.uk
