1-1 support

How we help each family who joins Eczema Outreach Scotland:

  • Welcome pack – Received shortly after registration, they are personalised, informative and useful for all the family… with a little surprise for the kids too!

“I can’t thank you enough for the pack. I know a lot more about the condition now and my son has started taking interest in his treatments for the first time. He’s even taken a booklet to school.”

“We loved the High 5 Club challenges from the pack and can’t wait to get started.”

  • shutterstock_158217437On-going support – Whenever our families need to speak or ask a question, they can get in touch with us ; we will listen and do our best to help. We will also contact each member directly once they’ve received their pack to find out how we can best support them, send them our quarterly e-bulletin and let them know about our events.

“What a relief to know that there is someone out there who can help when I’m struggling.”

“It’s like calling an old friend who understands.”

  • Tips and Resources – Sharing experiences and ideas to make life with eczema is at the core of our work. Our Publications sections contains some of our resources for families. Our members can get individual help with any of these tools whenever they need it, especially our flag-ship school healthcare plan.

“The healthcare plan you helped me write for the school has made a huge difference to my daughter’s skin and she is much happier at school as a result. Now I know she’s well looked after and won’t miss so many days, I might be able to look for a part-time job!”
